Investase was established in 2019 by Lauren Williams.
Lauren has deep knowledge of the healthcare industry, a broad international network of key stakeholders and trusted experts within the sector and a strong scientific background.
Before founding Investase, Lauren was Head of Investor Relations at Wilson Therapeutics AB, before it was acquired by Alexion. Prior to that she was a Managing Director at The Trout Group, a leading global healthcare investor relations advisory firm (now Solebury Trout), where she headed up the London office and was responsible for advising biotech, medtech and pharma companies.
Her City career began in 2001 at Goldman Sachs as a financial analyst in the heatlhcare equity research team. There she focused on biotech and pharmaceutical stocks, and in particular conducted in-depth product analysis and was involved in early work on ESG metrics in pharma.
Previously, Lauren was a postdoctoral scientist in the Department of Pharmacology, Oxford. She has a D.Phil in pharmacology and an M.A. in physiological sciences, both from the University of Oxford, UK.
